WHAT IS GULET

A popular concept in marine literature - Tradational Turkish Gulet. Traditionally hand made by master craftsmen, attractive wooden motor sailors (gulets) are comfortable vessels and ideal for charters. Gulets are built for long sea voyages as well as inshore coastal trips.

The consructions of gulets started in Bodrum area than for groving up market contructions also made in Bozburun , Marmaris, Fethiye and Istanbul .Gulet constructions are made with special handworks and carpenters prefer to use lastings woods (Teak, Maun and Iroko).

The Gulet real design has evolved into a comfortable blue cruising boat for up to twenty two guests in self-contained single, double or triple cabins. In general, gulets vary in length between 14 and 41 meters (52- 110 feet) hence varying passenger capacity. Each cabins with portholes, wardrobe, mirror,air conditioning system and ensuite shower & WC as standard. Master cabins with sofa, dresser, workdesk, jacuzzi or hydro massage shower as additional. Separate crew cabins.

Exceptionally spacious deck areas are complemented by superb sailing equipment, sun mattresses and cushions,offering the promise of the most enjoyable vacation at sea for every charter client, however they wish to spend their time on board.Spacious saloon with dining and lounge area; large aft deck with comfortable aft traditional deck sofa, dining table and bar, fully equipped galley.

All gulets have plenty of storage fresh water and fuel. VHF radio, GSM telephones, full navigation equipment, music system, TV and DVD player, refrigerator,ice maker, deepfreeze,fully equipped galley, joker boat , full safety equipments, life raft, life jackets, fire extinguishers keep you comfortable to stay away from port for days and enjoy your holiday to the utmost.

CREW

Each gulet has an experienced and knowledgeable Turkish captain, chef and deck hand who will host you and look after the boat.
They can suggest the best anchorage places, steer the boat, raise the sails, drop the anchor, rig the windsurfer, clean the boat, provision, cook and serve the meals and make the time to entertain you.

We only use fully qualified and experienced crew. We have an extensive data base of willing crew members, many of which have sailed with us before. Most of our skippers and crew are Turkish who have an extensive knowledge of cruising grounds and local life.

Your captain will ensure that your cruise moves along at a good pace. He decides on departure times and meal times according to the composition of the group, the day of the week and weather conditions. The captain is responsible for the safety of the vessel and its passengers and has the right to alter the itinerary when necessary.

Since the skipper is responsible for everything during the sail, all your requests are to be directed to him. The skipper can accept your invitation for supper or for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine; and you, in your part, may ask him to tell you how to steer the yacht, and even try to do any interesting ship work.

The crew have their own separate quarters and at at least one speaks a second language.
